“Buy-A-Brick” fundraiser is focused on giving back to a couple local charities that are dear to our hearts for many reasons. These groups all give so much to others and we found a cool way to give to their cause. Please check out the site below and help give back to some amazing causes. You can Buy-A-Brick and leave your mark in Doylestown by engrave your family name, perhaps dedicate it to a special loved one or maybe just a cool saying. It’s yours to write whatever you can fit on the BRICK or SLATE. The Bricks once engraved will reside outside Doylestown Inn and The Hattery Stove and Still on the walkway located at 18 W. State Street, Doylestown. After the inital cost to make and engrave the brick 100% of the the profits go directly to one of the charities of your choice! Their mission is to celebrate the life of Joel A. Gingras Jr., while raising vital funding for brain tumor research and increase public awareness of the disease. Joel was a friend to so many and anyone who has attended a JAG event can experience that family unity and love while playing a vital role in helping much needed funding for research. One of the Doylestown Inn Owners is not only a friend of The JAG family but also a brain tumor survivor so this charity and group of people are dear to their hearts.\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our friend and Doylestown native, Jay Smith founded the 90 Foundation in 2014 to raise money for ALS. Funds raised through this program will go towards Jay’s out of pocket Medical Care and to support other ALS patients. The foundation is another that is so well supported by family and friends. A testament to a true good soul and an amazing human-being.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Although founded in NY they put smiles on children’s faces in several states and also our friend and costume designer is a Bucks County local.\u00a0 In 2015 a group of friends began putting their Halloween costumes to good use by dressing up and visiting children in hospitals and special needs schools. Years later, the group has expanded and the Humble Heroes visit children in need on a monthly basis. The group of Heroes are growing and have started making a difference in Bucks County as well.
